Get to Know Us

 

Friends of Homeless Women is a group of concerned citizens looking for ways to bring awareness to this growing population of homeless women and to help with harm reduction efforts by raising funds for this cause.

 

​After learning about this cause, a small group of women from a local church wanted to help raise money to donate to the organization that oversees the funds. We have gained strength with more than 30 women from the Monterey Peninsula joining in our efforts to raise money through a fundraiser, which will be our 2nd Annual Sunday Brunch and Silent Auction to be held on Sunday, November 16, 2014 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Elks Lodge in Monterey CA.

 

It is absolutely amazing how these wonderful women have come together with sisterly love for one another.
